E-RACE on the BARA Stand at MACH 06

E-RACE were pleased to be part of the BARA Robotics Stand at MACH 06 held on May 15th to 19th.

We would like to thank BARA, and hope that all the people who visited the stand found it of interest.

E-RACE is a collaborative E-Space for the design and manufacture of reconfigurable assembly cells. A web portal will allow the input of specification data and other information by an End User based on their requirements for an automated assembly system. This will include uploading technical drawings and other equipment requirements / preferences. The system will translate this information into a detailed technical specification, automatically performing some negotiation with the End User.

All of the information relevant to the potential project is then sent to various system integrators who will then be able to submit a quote back to the End User.The system will also be able to use the data supplied to automatically generate, model and assess assembly system design solutions to the problem. 1000's of solutions can be generated and compared to the original specification in a very short time. This will allow the impact of requirements changes, and reconfiguration, to be fully realised by all parties.

The system will call on a knowledge library derived from information given by equipment and module suppliers, thus creating a database that will further enhance and accelerate the design process.
